From Narrative Objects to Poetic Practices: On Figurative Modes of Urbanism

In the context of increased interest in literary methods for spatial design, this article argues a reconsideration narrative urban planning. It holds that when is taken not as reified object but an active mode, which strategy organizing phenomenal world allows form to be created from and within profusion signs, importance heterogeneous non-narrative elements comes into full force, particular around figurative or metaphorical language, even especially frame.
